A Parade with a Purpose

On Saturday, December 12, enjoy a parade of boats beautifully decorated for the holidays on Sarasota Bay. This annual event is presented by Suncoast Charities for Children and Marina Jack. Admission is free and the best viewing is from Bayfront Park and Marina Jack. Reservations are required in advance for the Marina Jack restaurant and fill up quickly. Guests are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy or book which will be distributed by Suncoast Charities for Children to local children and families in need. Lisa Baer and Lana Jackson serve as Co-Chairs for this year’s event. Celebrity judges select winners from both the private and corporate sector.
